Our first office opened in Ellijay in 1995 with nine employees and a vision of helping our community grow and prosper. Since our beginning, we have been committed to helping our local communities succeed by supporting individuals and local businesses. When you bank with us, your money is reinvested right back into the community. It supports small businesses, helps family farms, sends children to college and builds homes for families.

 

In addition, our employees are dedicated to volunteering in the communities we serve. During these especially difficult financial times, we launched Together We Can. This campaign focuses on helping families and non-profit organizations in our communities that are struggling to make ends meet. So far this year, our employees and customers have restocked our local food banks, sent care packages to soldiers, provided children with back-to-school supplies, and gathered necessities for our local animal shelters and homeless pets. Our employees are passionate about helping others and care deeply about the communities they serve.
